Luxury watch boutique Wempe will next week host the 2018 Patek Philippe Exhibition Collection in its New Bond Street showroom.
The showcase will feature close to 100 ladies and mens watches from the prestigious Swiss watchmaker. It will encompass the brands famous complications; models from the Calatrava, Aquanaut, Nautilus, Golden Ellipse and Twenty-4 collections; as well as 10 new watches revealed this year at Baselworld.
The new models include the Ref. 5205G-013, a mens white gold Annual Calendar with a two-tone sunburst dial featuring a subtle black graduation to the circumference. The sleek, contemporary style is underscored by the new three-facetted Dauphine hands, filled with luminescence in the centre facet.
Also on display is the Ref. 5524R-001, a new rose gold version of the Calatrava Pilot Travel Time, with a graduated brown dial and sculpted luminous coated numerals. This watch has also been released as a ladies model, the Ref. 7234R, which is the first automatically wound Pilots watch in the ladies collection.
Another notable ladies watch featured in the show is the Ref. 7150/250R, a rose gold chronograph with a bezel adorned with 72 diamonds.
Patek was seen as one of the more ambitious brands on display at this years Baselworld showcase, with bold uses of colour helping to brighten what was widely seen as a year of solid iterations and subtle design improvements.
Wempe is one of Londons leading watch boutiques, with an in-house watch repair service and its own exclusive collections.
During the Patek Philippe Exhibition Collection, visitors can view and try on the watches, speak to in-house specialists and discover the history behind each design.
