The New York City terror attack suspect has told detectives he planned to continue his killing spree across Brooklyn Bridge, prosecutors say.

Sayfullo Habibullaevic Saipovsaidhe wanted to kill as many pedestrians as possible and carried out the atrocity on Halloween as there would be more people on the street, according to court documents.

Prosecutors say the 29-year-old Uzbek national waved his right to silence, told officers he felt good about what he had done and requested permission to display an Islamic State flag next to his bed.
