If you’re the ultimate Brexit superfan, stick this on your Christmas list, pronto.
No, not the VW Golf – its X17 BRE number plate, which spells Brexit (but upside down. Kind of.)
The owner of the controversial plate has opted to cash in, and has listed it on Gumtree for £750.
Why? Because he’s been warned by his partner that he won’t have any Christmas dinner if he dares to put it on his car.
On the listing, Mark Hoyle described the number plate as an ‘unwanted Christmas present’.
The 58-year-old from Torquay, Devon, added: ‘Have been threatened with no Xmas dinner if this registration number goes on one of our cars LOL.’
Mark is also trying to raise money for a good cause – as any profit he makes off the sale will be donated to a local homeless charity.
He wrote: ‘Any monies raised over the original DVLA purchase price will go to a local homeless charity here in Torbay looking to feed 100 plus individuals living on the streets in the English Riviera over the festive break.
‘Please feel free to donate even if you don’t wish to purchase the ultimate BREXIT registration number and please share this ad with others.’
