A young schoolboy tried to trick his parents into letting him skive school with a hilarious forged letter riddled with errors.
Ryan Nicholson, from Glasgow, sent a letter to his parents pretending to be from the school in which he explained that ‘attendance will not be recorded’.
He went all out on the letter, even including the campus address and school logo – but despite his best efforts he fooled no one because it was full of grammatical errors.
The letter read: ‘Ryan does not need to come in next week.
‘While school is on attendance will not be recorded.
‘He can come in but but staying off will not affect his attendance.’
Sister Amy Nicholson posted the letter on Facebook, and it quickly went viral racking up more than 5,000 shares.
She wrote: ‘My wee brother’s poor attempt at faking a letter from the school.’
Ryan, a pupil at Lochen Community High School, signed off the letter from a ‘Ms Walters’.
