A body has been found in the search for a missing Cambridgeshire student who was last seen leaving a nightclub.
Rory Cattermole, 20, who the News was told was a former student at Comberton Sixth Form, disappeared after a night out in Exeter with friends from his course.
He was last seen in Fever Boutique nightclub in Exeter, Devon, at 2.40am on Tuesday.
The Tab reports that the youngster was then spotted in an area of fields outside Exeter, by a river, on Snap Maps – a feature on Snapchat that lets you share your location with friends.
Rory's Snap Maps is now off, according to his friends.
Police and The Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team located the a body of a man on Thursday afternoon in Longdown, near Exeter.
In a statement Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Formal identification has yet to take place, however, the family of missing 20-year-old student Rory Cattermole has been informed of this development."
Rory, a first year business with finance student who is originally from Cambridgeshire, was wearing a red and white check shirt over a white t-shirt with black trousers and black trainers when he went missing.
It is believed that he left the club and headed towards Exeter city centre.
He was out with friends but is believed to have left the club alone.
He was on Snapchat during the early hours of the morning to his friends and the disappearance was described as "extremely out of character".
Longdown is roughly an hour and a half walk from the city centre.
The University of Exeter said: "Our thoughts are with his friends and family at this difficult time."
