Popular supermarket Lidl has issued an urgent product recall for items – citing fears over potential health risks for customers.

The big name chain is recalling two items after it emerged they do not have allergenic ingredients listed in English.

The two varieties of Favorina Dip Eggs contain milk and may contain other allergens – which pose a risk to anyone with an allergy or intolerance to cereals containing gluten, eggs, peanut, soya and nuts.

The Food Standards Agency says if you have bought the products and have an allergy or intolerance to the allergens above, do not eat them – instead, return them to the store for a full refund.
