Major supermarket chains Asda, Sainsbury's, Tesco, Lidl, and Morrisons have issued urgent food product recalls via the Food Standards Agency.

The big shops are worried that customer are at at risk due to incorrect food labelling and possible mice infestations.

The concern is that the products are a safety risk to consumers and those who suffer from certain allergies, Kent Live reported.

The Food Standards Agency, is an independent government department. Its job is to make sure that people can trust that the food they buy is safe and honest to eat.

It intervenes by issuing product recalls for supermarkets and shops to help keep customers safe.

Here is what you need to know about the latest recalls from Lidl, Sainsbury's, Tesco, Asda, Morrisons and Ikea:

Ikea

IKEA

IKEA is recalling its GODIS PÅSKKYCKLING Marshmallow candy due to possible mice infestation which makes this product unsafe to eat.
