Cambridgeshire will be gripped by sub-zero temperatures, snow and ice according to forecasters at the Met Met Office.
To say it is going to be cold would be an understatement, with temperatures predicted to creep over zero for only a few hours this week.
It feels like we've been talking about the Russian Beast from the East for days, now it is finally arriving and the temperatures are plummeting.
It has prompted the Met Office to extend its weather warnings.
The weather service has now extended its yellow warning for snow from two to three days in the coming week, and in the northern areas of the county are covered by an amber warning.
With that in mind we've pulled together the five day forecast so you have the latest information.
Many will wake to sub-zero temperatures, with forecasts of -2C between 3am and 8am.
It will start to warm up at 9am, but the temperature will not rise about 1C all day. At 4pm it will hit zero before plunging to -2C at 8pm.
A yellow weather warning is in place between 2pm and midnight.
It could snow at noon and later in the afternoon, the Met Office said.
There is a yellow weather warning in place for most of Cambridgeshire from midnight until 11.55pm.
It could start snowing at noon
There is amber weather warning in place for some western parts of the county like Sawtry, between 4am and 11am – when heavy snowfall is predicted – with as much as 15cm in some places.
The Met Office says: "Snow showers or longer periods of snow are expected on Tuesday, accompanied by very low temperatures.
"There is the potential for travel delays on roads, with some stranded vehicles and passengers, as well as delays or cancellations to rail and air travel.
"Some rural communities could become cut off. Power cuts may also occur and other services, such as mobile phones, may be affected."
The yellow weather warning will remain in place all day.
It may snow between noon and 4pm. The temperature will barely get above zero, and will be sub-zero for most of the day.
There is currently no snow forecast for Thursday, although it will remain bitterly cold with temperatures fluctuating between -1C and -3C.
Snow is predicted to start falling at 3am and carry on for much of the day. Temperatures will again remain sub-zero.
All in all, it's going to be a very cold week. Make sure to wrap up and keep an eye out for elderly neighbours.
