The Camden Roundhouse was evacuated this evening after a fire alarm was allegedly ‘smashed’ during a show.
DJ and Radio 1 presenter Annie Mac was hosting her AMP Sounds party when fans were told to clear the venue.
Firefighters were called to the venue as rapper Ghetts was performing on stage.
Pictures and video on Twitter showed dozens of people outside the venue after being evacuated.
People have since been allowed back in the building after it was declared safe.
Annie Mac tweeted: ‘The party is back on after a slight blip – basically @THEREALGHETTS was too good and we had to evacuate the building.’
Hayley Minn, a journalist, tweeted: ‘We’ve just been let back in – emergency alarm went off and everyone was evacuated
‘We were outside for around 20 mins and still have no idea what actually happened. I saw some firemen come in.’
A number of artists were due to perform at the event this evening, including Disclosure, Ghetts, Not3s, Wretch 32 and Jerimiah Asiamah.
The Roundhouse has since tweeted: ‘The venue has reopened and tonight’s AMP gig has restarted following a false alarm.
‘Thanks everyone for your cooperation and patience.’
