Just when we thought the Beast from the East had let us be, the skies have darkened and the snow appears to be back with us again.
Many awoke to a smattering of snow this morning – but is there more on the way?
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for snow in the East of England on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Forecasters say snow showers are most likely in the region throughout Sunday (March 18) between 12.05am until 11.55pm, which could prove to be disruptive to roads, power cuts and services such as mobile phone networks.
A Met Office spokesman said: “Snow showers are likely throughout Sunday, and where these converge some snow may well accumulate and could then prove disruptive.
“There is a small chance of travel delays on roads with some stranded vehicles, along with delayed or cancelled rail and air travel.
“There is a small chance that power cuts will occur and services, such as mobile phone, may be affected.”
