A road rage drama was played out in a Cambridgeshire village as a motorist was attacked by white van men who then rammed the victim’s car.

Police have launched a hunt for two white men who were driving a white van eratically in Oilmills Road, Ramsey Merside when they attacked the 51-year-old victim.

They then rammed the van into the victim's car causing 'considerable damage' before driving off.

A force spokesman said: "Police are investigating an incident of road-rage that happened on Oilmills Road, Ramsey Mereside, at around 8.45pm on Saturday, March 10, when a white Transit van, being driven erratically, stopped in front of a motorist.

"Two men from the van confronted the car driver and assaulted him, then deliberately backed their van into his car, causing considerable damage. The van then drove off."
