There are numerous planned closures on the A14 this week ahead of the Easter bank holiday weekend.
Highways England says the work will be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.
However all work will carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.
The following road closures are planned for Monday (March 26) and Tuesday (March 27).
Eastbound junction 23 to 24 Godmanchester
A14 eastbound, junction 23 Spittals Roundabout, to junction 24 Godmanchester will be closed for emergency resurfacing works on Monday March 26, lasting two nights between the working hours of 8pm to 6am.
Work to resurface the road surface will be carried out on the A14 eastbound between junctions 23 and 24, plus the eastbound junction 24 entry slip road.
A clearly signed diversion will be in place via A14 junction 21, A1, A428, before exiting at A14 junction 31. Local traffic will use A1139 to Godmanchester from Caxton Gibbet Roundabout.
A14 eastbound between junction 26 and junction 30
This section of the road will also be close Monday 26 March to Tuesday 27 March (two nights), again from 8pm to 6am.
A signed diversion will be in place. Vehicles will be diverted south on the A1198, then east on the A428 to re-join the A14.

A14 westbound junction 32, entry slip road
A signed diversion will be in place here on Monday night (March 26) and Tuesday. Vehicles will be diverted east along the A14 to junction 33, where they turn and return west to junction 32.
A14 Kentford to Newmarket for new road markings
There will be work to install permanent road markings and technology assets on the A14 westbound between Kentford and Newmarket will commence on Monday March 26, lasting two nights between working hours of 8pm to 6am.
A full westbound closure of the A14 between junction 43 and junction 38 will be in place during these works. A signed diversion will be in place via A134 and A11.
M11 northbound junction 14 exit slip road closed
A signed diversion will be place. Vehicles will be diverted north onto the A14 to junction 30 where they will return eastbound.
A14 westbound junction 31 exit slip road to M11 closed.
A signed diversion will be in place and vehicles will be diverted onto the westbound A14 to junction 30, where they will turn and then return east on the A14 and then south onto the M11.
Partial road closures
On Monday March 26 to Wednesday March 28 (three nights) the following routes will be affected by partial closures.
A14 junction 21, Brampton Hut traffic island, lane 3 closed.
A14 eastbound between junction 24 and junction 26, lane 2 closed.
A14 eastbound between junction 31 and junction 35, lane 1 closed.
A14 westbound between junction 32 and junction 31, lane 1 closed.
A14 junction 55 Copdock with be closed at the slip road for safety improvements.
This is work to improve safety by realigning the road markings and replacing reflective studs on the southbound exit slip road continues this week.
The slip road will be closed on weeknights between 8pm and 6am. A signed diversion will be in place via A14 junction 54.
A14 junctions 51 to 43: carriageway repairs
Concrete repairs to the A14 between junctions 49 and 47a continues this week.
The westbound carriageway will be closed between junction 51 and 43 on weeknights between 8pm and 6am.
A signed diversion route will be in place via the A140 and A143. Please allow additional time for your journeys.
A14 Orwell Bridge to junction 62: resurfacing
Work to resurface the concrete carriageway between Orwell and Levington and the carriageway between Levington and junction 62 continues this week.
The work is being carried out in sections between 8pm and 6am each night (Monday to Friday).
The westbound carriageway will be closed between junctions 58 and 55 with a signed diversion route via the A12 and A1214.
