Vandals have targeted Jesus Green Lido spraying graffiti all around the outside.

Dozens of multicoloured 'tags' cover the fencing around the nearly hundred-year-old pool.

The vandalism happened over the winter while the outdoor pool was shut to the public.

Across the striped part of the wall there are blue and red tags reading Zemz.

Another fence was smeared in black graffiti underneath the 'Jesus Green Lido' sign.

Part of the Better Leisure Centre network, the 100 yard outdoor pool features showers, male and female changing facilities and is open between May and September.

Work to remove the vandalism will hopefully be completed before the outdoor pool is set to re-open on May 12.

Last year the pool had a complete make-over before re-opening to the public.

Changing rooms were given a dust down ahead of opening and benches repaired and a fresh paint job was applied to the pool's edges and inner walls before it was re-filled.
