Heavy downpours are set to bring flooding to Cambridgeshire and parts of the south-east tomorrow (Monday, April 30), which could cause disruption for the morning commute.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning, with strong winds up to 45mph and heavy downpours set to lash much of the East of England for 24 hours.
The warning is in place from 9pm tonight (Sunday, April 29) and all day tomorrow, with maximum temperatures of 6C.
The Met Office said: "Although it is unclear how far west the heaviest rain will extend, accumulations of 25-40 mm could occur quite widely with perhaps 50-70 mm in places during this period.
"The heavy rain will be accompanied by strong to gale force northerly winds and it may be cold enough to produce some snow on high ground although this seems unlikely to settle."

The rest of the week
The rest of next week is expected to bring quite unsettled weather to all regions. Later on the chance of drier and warmer spells could increase in the south as a ridge of high pressure begins to nudge towards the UK from the Azores.
A spokesperson for The Weather Channel said: “It will be mostly cloudy with outbreaks of rain over the weekend and into the beginning of next week, with drier and sunnier conditions across Scotland and Ireland.
“There is a risk of some heavy rain and strong winds over south-east England on Sunday evening into Monday. Temperatures will remain below normal, with scattered frosts in sheltered places across northern and central areas.”
