A 34-year-old dad went missing five years ago and his family are desperate for any information to help them find him.
Carl Hodges was last seen at 5.30am on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 in Northwood in Hillingdon, North West London.
Carl’s family say he loves sports, especially cycling, cricket and football. He is quite a reserved character and he has a young son.
Eddie Hodges, Carl’s father, describes the “sheer frustration” he feels at not having found his son.
Carl’s family and the Metropolitan Police are asking once more for anyone with information about Carl’s whereabouts or who may have seen him to come forwards.
“I feel sheer frustration about my own abilities as I have not been able to find my son,” Eddie said.
“I find that I will do anything to distract me from knowing that Carl is not here with us.
“He has a son, who misses him and Carl is missing out on watching him grow up. It is so sad. We just need to know that he is safe and ok.”
Carl is white, 6’1” in height and often wears a baseball cap.
Detective Chief Inspector Darren Young, who leads the West Area Missing Person Unit said: “Carl has now been missing for five years, which as you can imagine has been an extremely difficult time for his family.
“We are encouraging anyone that can help with this enquiry to come forward and make contact with the police.
“If you know of Carl’s whereabouts or can provide any information that might just help us to bring Carl home then please do call us.
“His family and officers are increasingly concerned for his wellbeing.”
