Davina McCall, 53, will appear on our screens tonight on The Masked Singer at 7pm. The judge and presenter will most likely be wearing a stunning dress, reminding viewers of her slim figure toned abs. How did she lose weight and maintain her figure over the years?
In 2018, Davina revealed that she had slimmed down a dress size in just a year, from a size 12 to a size 10.
Her weight transformation came after splitting with her husband and father to her three children.
The presenter said at the time: “I’m around 9st 10lbs and I’m in size 10 clothes, which is a size smaller than I was in last year, so it’s great. I’m really, really happy.
“I don’t want to lose any more weight now, though. This is exactly where I want to be,” she added.
Davina is known for releasing numerous fitness DVDs over the years, and she also currently has a fitness Instagram account where she encourages her followers to do regular exercise.
As a member of Davina’s Own Your Goals online gym, users can get free access to her virtual fitness classes.
The online gym features a range of different classes daily, including Pilates, high-intensity workouts, and weightlifting.
Davina also participates in these classes herself and posts video proof on the Own Your Goals Instagram account.
On her personal Instagram account, Davina shares more photos and videos of her regular fitness regimes.
Earlier this month, the presenter admitted in one post that she has been finding it hard to get motivated during lockdown.
She wrote: “Feel like I’m going nuts… please let me know how you are doing… need a share up… been for a walk… didn’t really work… next on my ‘sort my head out’ list is exercise… come on Davina… you got this.”
In a later post that same day, Davina shared a video of herself working out.
In the caption underneath the video, which was of her doing some weights, Davina wrote: “Ok. So here is what I did. I worked out. The force wasn’t massively with me. But I’m still proud I did it.”
She also said that she had ate something healthy, had a cold shower, and put some make up and a pretty shirt on to motivate herself.
Davina added: “After all that I did feel a lot better.”
The presenter eats granola bars and snacks by the healthy foods brand Bio&Me before exercising to maintain her energy throughout the workout.
Davina also enjoys running and goes for jogs regularly, again sharing her progress with her Instagram followers.
Earlier this year she posted a photo of herself outside in running gear and included the caption: “I cannot tell you how much I wanted to stay in bed. I got up, no tea, no brekkie, straight out of the door or it wasn’t happening… half an hour tick… very hilly. But I feel totally amazing.”
Since she often works out, Davina fuels her body with a healthy and balanced diet containing a lot of protein.
She eats foods such as eggs and fish, as well as plenty of fruit and vegetables.
