Whether you’re a first-time buyer or already own your own home, scrolling through property websites is a great way to kill some time.

You can take a look inside breathtaking mansions, incredible townhouses and even pubs – all from the comfort of your own home.

But while these properties are great to look at, owning them isn’t exactly a realistic prospect for most of us.

So it stands to reason then that the most viewed properties on these websites aren’t always the most extraordinary ones.

Sometimes, understandably, people want to set themselves slightly more achievable goals and find the best house on the market within their budget.

So with that said, it’s not hard to see why this three-bedroom house was the most viewed property in Peterborough last month.

While it clearly isn’t a luxurious mansion with a sprawling country estate, it is going up for auction at an estimated guide price of £160,000.

And, located within a stone’s throw of the city centre and less than half a mile from the nearest school, it’s in a top location too.

Along with three bedrooms and a family bathroom upstairs, the property has an entrance hall, lounge, dining room and kitchen with a larder.

Other features include driveway parking, a garage and a private rear garden.

With a range of retro fittings, the property is admittedly in need of a little modernisation – but there’s nothing a bit of TLC won’t fix.

Scroll on for a look inside this property.
